What is the difference between Oxford, Derby and loafer shoes?
- Oxford: Closed lacing creates a neat line that works with a suit. Compare plain or cap-toe styles for a simple look, or brogues for more detail. Compare Oxfords
- Derby: Open lacing allows adjustment at the instep. People with a higher instep can include Derbys in their fitting comparison, but the fit still depends on the individual last. Compare Derbys
- Loafer: A laceless style that is easy to put on and take off. Check how it holds your instep and heel; easy entry alone does not establish the right size. Compare loafers
- Elevator dress shoes: An internal lift should be considered alongside the space inside the shoe, walking feel and trouser length. Check each product page for its specifications. Compare elevator shoes
Black or brown? Look at your wardrobe
Black works with black or grey suits for a neat, formal look. Brown can work with navy, grey or khaki clothing for softer colour layers. Start with the trousers you wear most often, then compare upper colours to find a pair you will use regularly.
Check the fit before ordering
- Wear the socks you normally pair with dress shoes. Measure both feet and use the longer foot as your reference.
- Check toe movement, pressure at the forefoot and tightness across the instep.
- Walk a few steps and check for the heel slipping out, local pressure or rubbing.
- Do not simply add or subtract from your trainer size. Last shape, foot width and sock thickness all affect fit.
If you are between sizes, have wider feet or a higher instep, read the wide-foot and instep selection guide, then compare the fit in store.

Men’s dress shoe questions
Will the same size fit identically in every style?
Not necessarily. Last shape, instep height, upper construction and sock thickness affect the fit. Check again when choosing another style.
Is every style in the collection genuine leather?
Different styles may use natural leather, suede or microfiber. Compare the material information on each product page rather than judging by appearance alone.
Does a listed size mean it is in stock?
The size range and actual availability are different. Select a colour and size, then check the purchasing status of that combination. You can also ask about stock at your preferred store.
What if an online order does not fit?
You can apply for a size exchange within 7 days under the current policy, subject to the item-condition requirements. Customers pay exchange shipping, or can arrange an in-store exchange after checking stock. Non-defective items cannot be returned or refunded. Read the full exchange conditions.
Hong Kong and Macau orders of HK$500 or more qualify for free shipping. In-stock orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 days; delivery usually takes 3–5 days from ordering, subject to preparation and delivery arrangements. Read delivery details.
